going-in-circles

Wow, I have been quite dead on here for quite a long time. It's been an interesting year for me, and I took the spring semester off from school to get myself stable again and deal with things that I had been avoiding dealing with for far too long. I think I can say that everything's dandy now. :) I don't really have that much with which to update, but oh well. I've got my eye on a few filters right now but I'm broke (I'll hopefully have a job soon?). Once I get the filters, maybe I'll have more incentive to go out and take pictures and such.

I really miss cello. I'm not taking lessons, I'm not in an orchestra, and I don't practice much at all anymore. I can do without being in an orchestra, even though I loved doing districts and regionals. I can even deal with not having lessons every week anymore. I really do miss practicing though, if for no other reason than because of how therapeutic it is. I can sit and play and everything else goes away for a while. I don't even have to play anything specific. I can just close my eyes and play my feelings. Over the years I've learned that music is the only way I truly express myself.
